Announcing Glasswing Ventures’ $200M+ Fund III
It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude that we announce that Glasswing Ventures has closed its oversubscribed Fund III, raising over $200M in capital commitments. Receiving support from both existing and new Limited Partners, this fund exemplifies the conviction we had back in 2016 that artificial intelligence and frontier technology would transform enterprises and industries. With two investments already made out of Fund III, we are excited to deploy this new capital and expand our portfolio of AI-native and Frontier Tech companies building for the enterprise B2B and cybersecurity markets.
Since the firm’s inception, we have believed that the most value-driving startups will be the ones that are truly AI-native. Glasswing’s 70-plus portfolio companies leverage novel algorithms and proprietary data to deliver significant ROI to the businesses they serve — upwards of 20% in annual savings, 30x productivity boosts, and backlog reductions of over 80% — evidence that enterprise transformation is well underway.
Fund III will further Glasswing’s AI-native and Frontier Tech theses by deepening our investments in innovative startups with strong moats, particularly focusing on six key areas:
- Vertical AI: AI-native platforms that optimize entire workflows within specific industries.
- Physical AI: Autonomous systems capable of perceiving, understanding, and performing complex actions in the context of the real (physical) world.
- AI-adaptive infrastructure: AI agents and models with reinforcement-learning frameworks built into their core to help them consistently iterate and improve.
- Intelligent enterprise defense: Autonomous threat detection and remediation for coordinated optimized defense.
- Collaborative intelligence platforms: AI-native systems that embed directly into workflows, enabling humans and AI to work together.
- Next-gen compute: Systems that leverage technologies ranging from distributed architectures to quantum, enabling breakthroughs in speed and scale.
Furthermore, as early-stage investors with former builder and operator experience, we carry the technical and go-to-market expertise necessary to support our companies at every stage of the startup journey. We are hands-on with our portfolio companies, serving as an extension of the founding teams before they are able to hire all functional roles. We actively collaborate with our founders on product roadmaps, website design, business strategy, and other key initiatives.
Additionally, we have established exclusive Advisory Councils composed of industry executives, academics, and seasoned entrepreneurs that support our portfolio through due diligence and customer and talent introductions. Since Fund II, we have expanded our councils to include 62 advisors. Over the past year, Glasswing’s internal team and Advisory Councils have provided over 1,000 customer introductions to the firm’s portfolio companies.
As the AI era reaches maturity — the global AI market is expected to reach $2.09 trillion in 2033 — other Frontier Tech markets are also accelerating. McKinsey estimates that quantum computing will generate up to $72 billion in worldwide revenue by 2035, a 1,700% increase from 2024. Glasswing Ventures remains at the forefront of this exciting period of innovation. We believe that the companies that will break through the noise and drive significant enterprise business value will be the ones whose products become deeply woven into enterprise workflows, transforming the nature of work as we know it. With Fund III, we will continue identifying these companies at their earliest stages and leveraging our extensive network and experience to help them transform into generation-defining businesses. With Glasswing Ventures, ideas take flight.
