Glasswing Ventures Leads $5M Seed Investment in AI-Native Risk Lifecycle Management™ Platform, Enlaye
We are excited to announce our Seed investment in Enlaye, the AI-native Risk Lifecycle Management™ platform for the Built-World, helping contractors identify, assess, and mitigate project risk faster across the construction lifecycle.
In construction, every project is fundamentally an exercise in managing risk. Yet much of the $16.45 trillion global construction industry still relies on spreadsheets, fragmented workflows, and manual contract review to assess exposure and manage claims. Enlaye emerges with an AI-native platform that enables contractors and project teams to analyze risk, evaluate scenarios, and make faster, more confident decisions through workflows purpose-built for the construction industry.
Historically, contractors and project owners have relied on manual, expert-led processes to review contracts and assess project risk before and during project delivery. These processes are slow, inconsistent, and costly, contributing to more than $95 billion in construction disputes globally. By centralizing project risk analysis and uncovering hidden sources of exposure, Enlaye helps customers cut risk analysis time by 67% and reduce risk mitigation costs by 20% across projects, totaling more than $17 billion in value across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Philippe Rival and Dr. Stamati Liapis co-founded Enlaye in Boston in 2023. Philippe, Co-Founder and CEO, brings two decades of construction industry expertise, including project, bid, proposal, and cost management roles at VINCI Construction, the world’s largest construction company. There, he worked on major infrastructure projects including a $2.7B light rail transit expansion in Ottawa and an $800M bridge project in Louisville. Stamati, Co-Founder and CTO, brings more than a decade of experience developing AI systems and machine learning tools designed to uncover patterns and support complex decision-making.
Philippe and Stamati first met in high school outside Paris before reconnecting years later to co-found Enlaye. Philippe holds an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Stamati earned a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from Boston University, where his research focused on AI systems inspired by human cognition.
We are excited to partner with Philippe, Stamati, and the Enlaye team as they modernize how contractors and project owners identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual risk. We are proud to have led the Seed round alongside co-lead investor Link Ventures, with participation from Imad Ventures, Hannah Grey VC, AiSprouts, and Apprentis Ventures.
