Glasswing Portfolio Company Realm.Security Raises $15M in Series A Funding
Just last year, we announced our Seed investment in Realm.Security, the company pioneering an AI-native Security Data Pipeline Platform (SDPP) to manage the acceleration of data sprawl that is overwhelming enterprise security teams and skyrocketing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) costs. As a testament to the market need, product quality, team talent, and satisfied early adopters, today, we are thrilled to share our continued support of the company through participation in its Series A fundraise, alongside new lead investor Jump Capital and existing investor Accomplice.
As early-stage investors in innovative cybersecurity platforms leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to solve critical concerns for enterprises, we recognized the early potential for Realm.Security to not only reduce SIEM storage costs but also provide more actionable data that accelerates threat investigation and develops more robust enterprise security systems. As the Data Pipeline Tools Market is projected to grow 26.8% over the next five years, and security teams face the continued challenge of managing 17 to 20 tools each generating hundreds of security alerts daily, Realm.Security is uniquely positioned to transform and lead the market.
Since announcing its Seed round, the company has released four modules: Focus, Unity, Privacy Guard, and Data Haven, which can be used together or separately to solve the most costly and complex challenges in security data operations. Its Unity Module, for example, leverages machine learning to eliminate vendor lock caused by the many tools leveraged by security teams and automates data normalization for seamless querying. Its Focus module eliminates low–signal telemetry for more streamlined threat analysis and reduces daily firewall logs by 83%, helping enterprises like Vensure Employer Solutions achieve $254,000 in annual cost savings.
The quick Series A funding is representative of the combined talent and foresight of founders Pete Martin, Jeff Kraemer, and Sanket Choskey. This team has combined their knowledge from prior experiences operating on both the technical and go-to-market sides of the cybersecurity industry to create a platform that alleviates and solves some of the most mission-critical challenges experienced by security teams today.
We are excited to continue supporting Pete, Jeff, Sanket, and the rest of the Realm.Security team as they allocate the new funds to further accelerate product development, sales, and market expansion. Read more about Realm.Security’s fundraise here.
